Policies

For customer service inquires or issues, please use the contact form or email me at greatlakeslacquer at gmail dot com.  Please allow 24-48 hours during the week for a response.  Please do not include weekends, holidays or vacation in this time frame. 

Combining Shipping:  At this time, I will no longer be combining orders and refunding shipping unless it is during a small batch/sample sale.  Also, I will not hold orders unless you are international.

Payment:  At this time, I accept Paypal and major credit cards through Stripe.

Cancellation: I honor cancellation requests as long as a shipping label has not been printed.  Please send your request via email.

Refunds: Due to the nature of the product, I do not offer refunds.  In case of breakage during shipment, please contact me with a photo of the damage asap and I will refund (or replace depending on availability) the cost of the polish and shipping.

Misc. Issues:  If there is a problem with your polish, please contact me as I will do my best to ensure that all my customers are happy.  While I do throughly test my ingredients, it's impossible for me to recreate every possible situation, including storage and usage.  I encourage storing polish in a cool, dry, dark place such as a helmer or alex.

Variances: While I keep concise records of all recipes and adhere to them precisely, batch variances can occur.  It is the nature of handmade polish. 

Custom work: When I am able, I will put up a custom listing in the shop for purchase.  These will be for custom creations.  I will do this as time allows.  Pricing will vary based on ingredients and the time put into the creation of your request but does start at $15.  Payment is required up front.  I reserve the right to use some form or variation of my work in future collections.  If you would like to ensure your creation stays a one of a kind, we can discuss that.
